Torrent inspection

According to § 101 Abs. 6 each community in Austria is obliged to have all torrents on community grounds inspected once per year in order to prevent flood damages by ensuring a free water drain.

In the course of this inspection all obstructions as deposits or installations and defects of protective constructions as erosion and broken pieces are documented by a qualified person. The results of the inspection are given to the municipal administration in standard form and necessary measures and their urgency are discussed.
